Exterior:

This 1966 Corvette has been thoughtfully refreshed with a range of new and reconditioned components that enhance both its appearance and functionality. It features new bolt-on style knock-off wheels wrapped in low-mileage tires, along with new chrome bumpers and new front and rear light assemblies. The vent window assemblies have been re-chromed and fitted with new rubber, complemented by a new windshield with a fresh rubber seal. The windshield stainless has been polished inside and out, with new stainless trim installed on the exterior top and bottom. Additional updates include new vent door rubbers, a new vent motor, a new black soft top with a reconditioned frame, all-new top weather stripping, and new exterior emblems throughout.

Interior:

Inside, the 1966 Corvette has been extensively updated to present a fresh, factory-correct look with modern reliability. It features a new Grant wood steering wheel, a new clock face, and a fully refreshed glove box with a new insert, replaced stainless trim, and a new glove box light switch. The radio has been rebuilt and upgraded, paired with a new speaker, reproduction antenna, and new antenna switch. Comfort and finish are enhanced with new dash pads, HushMat insulation, new carpet, door panels, and door felts with weather stripping. The seating has been completely renewed with new cushions, covers, seat backs, hockey sticks, and seatbelts, while new decklid weather stripping completes the interior restoration.

Mechanics:

Mechanically, this 1966 Corvette retains its highly desirable original drivetrain and has been comprehensively restored for reliability and performance. It is powered by its original 327/300hp block fitted with original 3782461 heads and the correct original 1966 Winters 350hp aluminum intake, complemented by polished valve covers. The distributor has been rebuilt with a new main shaft and rear tach drive, while the original exhaust manifolds and restored original alternator remain in place. The transmission has been rebuilt and paired with a new shifter and linkage, backup switch, transmission mount, motor mounts, and a new clutch assembly. Power is sent to a correct 3.08 Positraction rear axle dated 11/10/1965, with new U-joints, driveshaft and half shafts, plus a new leaf spring and hardware. The fuel and cooling systems have been fully renewed with a new fuel tank, sending unit, rebuilt fuel pump, aluminum radiator, aluminum surge tank, new heater core, and a restored heater box with new seals. Additional upgrades include a new wiring harness from the firewall forward, rebuilt headlight motors with new drive gears, refreshed headlight bucket hardware, fully rebuilt brakes with new master cylinder, booster, lines, rotors, calipers, and emergency brake components, along with new steering shaft and bearings. The gauge cluster has been restored, including a cleaned speedometer with replaced odometer drive gear, new faceplate, new speedometer and tachometer cables, and new 90-degree fittings for both.
