This Daimler Six 4.0 SWB, finished in the elegant and highly desirable Carnival Red, is offered in outstanding mechanical, structural, and cosmetic condition. Well-documented examples of this model in such original condition are increasingly difficult to find..



A defining feature of this car is the independent verification of its low mileage. It is accompanied by an official Belgian Car-Pass, showing a consistent and logical mileage history over many years, as well as the original Jaguar Belgium Certificate of Conformity, issued prior to first registration. In addition, a Heritage Certificate from the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust will be included with the car, further documenting its factory build details and original specification.



The car was first registered in Belgium in April 1996 and remained there in long-term ownership before being imported into the Netherlands in 2020. I purchased the vehicle through the. lead technician of the Daimler Jaguar Owners Club of the Netherlands, which offers additional reassurance regarding its mechanical condition, correctness, and overall quality.



From a driving perspective, the car performs exactly as a Daimler Six should. It has been used recently on several long-distance journeys, including trips through the Alps, where it remained composed and reliable even on narrow and steep rural mountain roads. The engine runs smoothly, the automatic transmission shifts seamlessly, and the ride is refined and comfortable at all speeds.



For improved everyday usability, the car has benefited from sympathetic and fully reversible upgrades. The front door speakers have been discreetly replaced with modern units, and a Bluetooth interface has been installed for hands-free calling and music streaming from smartphones. Both modifications can be removed and the car returned to original specification without leaving any trace, should the next owner prefer a completely standard setup.



Cosmetically, the car presents very well. There is a minor scratch on the rear wing which is small, clearly visible in the photos, and easily resolved with a simple DIY repair. This is mentioned here purely in the interest of transparency.



Further underlining the car’s originality, the original factory tool kit is still present, correctly positioned under the bonnet as designed and remarkably still in its original wrapper. Small details like this reflect the careful ownership and limited, considerate use the car has enjoyed throughout its life.



The car has recently passed its APK / MOT, valid until December 2026, with no issues. The only items addressed were the replacement of two indicator bulbs, updated to comply with revised inspection guidelines.



When not in use, the car has been stored correctly indoors and sheltered from weather conditions, helping to preserve its mechanical integrity, bodywork, and interior. It is currently in storage, and test drives are available by appointment for serious buyers only.
