The NOVITEC N-LARGO Ferrari 296 GTS is a limited widebody version of Ferrari’s open-top mid-engine sports car, designed by renowned German designer Vittorio Strosek. The aerodynamically optimized body conversion was developed in the wind tunnel and is manufactured entirely from carbon fiber, combining maximum strength with lightweight construction. The rear axle width increases by 12 centimeters to 208 cm, giving the two-seater an unmistakably aggressive stance. The N-LARGO front apron with exposed carbon front lip reduces lift on the front axle and seamlessly connects to the front fenders widened by 3 cm per side. Each fender features three gill-shaped ventilation openings that extract heat from the brakes and create space for the large wheels. A specially developed NOVITEC front trunk lid with integrated air ducts converts airflow into additional front-axle downforce, further enhancing high-speed stability. The N-LARGO side skirts ensure a perfect transition to the wider body while also optimizing brake cooling. At the rear, a visible carbon diffuser and carbon ducktail rear spoiler improve aerodynamic efficiency; alternatively, a rear wing is available for a more motorsport-focused appearance. The Spider shown can be specified in an optional exposed carbon finish for a pure racing look. Specially engineered NOVITEC NF11 NL high-tech wheels by Vossen emphasize the wedge-shaped design, measuring 9.5Jx21 at the front with 255/30 ZR 21 tires and 22 inches at the rear with 335/25 ZR 22 high-performance tires, ensuring maximum grip. A sports suspension lowering the ride height by 35 mm sharpens handling and dynamics, while an optional front lift system (+40 mm) improves everyday usability. Performance upgrades for the V6 biturbo engine, including optimized turbo inlets, 100-cell sport catalysts, and a high-performance exhaust system made from stainless steel or Inconel, increase total system output to 638 kW / 868 hp, delivering extreme open-top performance with unmistakable NOVITEC character.
