Fiat Barchetta ‘Black Edition’, year 2000 (first registration 20 May 2000). Chassis (VIN) number ZFA183000*00047225*, engine number 60586932. Bodywork finished in orange (Arancio Victoria 570) combined with an anthracite cloth/ leather cloth interior and black carpet. Black vinyl soft-top and a hard top in body colour. This beautiful Fiat Barchetta ‘Black Edition’ was sold new in the Netherlands by Autohuis Ede van Wirdum. From day one the car was cherished by three consecutive owners, and the car has driven 87.574 kilometres. Designed by Andreas Zapatinas at Fiat’s Centro Stile and introduced in 1995, the Fiat Barchetta was a compact sporty Italian roadster in the spirit of the lightweight Italian sports cars. The name Barchetta means ‘little boat’. The car was based on the Fiat Punto platform and featured a 131 hp 1800 cc four-cylinder engine mated to a five speed manually operated gearbox driving the front wheels. This ‘Black Edition’ car features a special option package consisting of contrasting (black) interior trim on doors and (velour) mats, black roll bars, black front logo, alloy wheels and an upgraded Fiat audio system with RDS and CD player. This splendid example was professionally repainted in the past; the car absolutely looks and feels like brand new! The service history is fully known and documented. The service book was filled out and stamped punctually up to the last service at 87.062 kilometres. This superb example comes complete with a hard top and an original Fiat car cover. A very desirable ‘modern classic’!
