Rover P5B 3.5 V8 Coupe LHD

For Sale: This beautiful original LHD Rover P5B Coupé 3.5 V8 from 1969.


Originally delivered new in Milan. Only 402 LHD Coupés were built.
Luxury specification with vinyl roof and air conditioning.
When I bought the Rover, it had been stored dry for more than 20 years and had been completely treated with a corrosion protection wax. The following work has recently been carried out:

• Fuel tank flushed (no rust inside)
• New electric fuel pump
• All fuel lines replaced
• Carburettors completely rebuilt
• Engine sump flushed, new engine oil and filter
• New contact points, rotor, distributor cap, ignition leads and spark plugs
• New rocker cover gaskets
• Brake master cylinder rebuilt
• Front brake calipers rebuilt with new stainless steel pistons, rear wheel cylinders rebuilt
• Wheels refurbished and fitted with four new tyres
• Dynamo rebuilt
• New water pump and coolant hoses
• And much more...

The Rover came back to life immediately! The engine runs beautifully smooth, starts instantly and does not smoke.
Approximately 95% of the paint is still original. The paint is quite thin and there is a dull area on the boot lid.

What makes this Rover truly special is that it is completely rust-free and has never been welded. Even the inner rear wheel arches and all four jacking points are still 100% original.
You simply won't find another original LHD Rover like this.

It will still require some further work; the door, boot and rear window seals should be replaced, the interior deserves some attention, and various suspension bushes and mechanical components should be inspected and serviced.

I can assist with the correct export documentation and also help arrange transport if required.

Restored examples are worth between €40,000 and €50,000.
