Na 8 jaar met veel plezier rijden is het tijd voor iets nieuws. De afgelopen jaren heb ik er nog maar zo’n 250 km per jaar mee gereden, vooral omdat er inmiddels ander speelgoed bij is gekomen. De kosten zijn laag: verzekering en wegenbelasting zijn verwaarloosbaar, en de auto start altijd zodra ik er zin in heb. Toch gebruik ik hem simpelweg te weinig om hem echt te gaan missen. Daarom mag deze bijzondere Fury door naar iemand die er wél volop van gaat genieten.

· Sylva Fury R1 BEC – bouwjaar 2009, donor uit 1994. Origineel links gestuurd chassis, geleverd door de fabriek. Dit is geen Locost-build, maar een high-end pakket van een gespecialiseerd bedrijf. Emissievrij op kenteken; mogelijkheden zoals deze komen er met de huidige wetgeving niet meer bij. Bij deze auto mag je bovendien een andere motor of een andere body monteren. Nog 2 jaar APK.
· Yamaha R1-motorblok uit 2003. Het blok had bij inbouw 6.200 km gelopen en staat nu op circa 12.000 km.
· Onafhankelijke wielophanging rondom, volledig instelbaar SPAX-onderstel professioneel afgesteld, plus LSD-differentieel.
· Magnesium wielen met Toyo semi-slicks.
· Digidash met alle sensoren. Mono stuur
· Sequentiële handbak met flipperschakeling en voetkoppeling.
· Wilwood remmen, Schroth 6-puntsgordels, Tillett carbon stoelen, enzovoort.

· Geen achteruitversnelling, maar wel voorbereid op montage via een flens in de aandrijfas nabij het schutbord.
Dit is een auto die je koopt voor de pure rijbeleving. Niet om rustig te toeren, maar voor maximale sensatie. Door het extreem lage gewicht en de directe aandrijving biedt deze Fury een ervaring die vrijwel nergens meer te koop is.

After 8 years of very enjoyable ownership, it is time for something new. Over the past few years I have only driven around 250 km per year, mainly because other toys have since joined the garage. Running costs are very low: insurance and road tax are negligible, and the car always starts whenever I feel like taking it out. Still, I simply use it too little to really miss it. That is why this special Fury can now move on to someone who will enjoy it properly.

· Sylva Fury R1 BEC – built in 2009, with a 1994 donor. Original left-hand-drive chassis supplied by the factory. This is not a Locost build, but a high-end package from a specialist company. It is registered as emissions-free; under current legislation, opportunities like this will not come around again. With this car, you are also allowed to fit a different engine or a different body. MOT/APK valid for another 2 years.
· 2003 Yamaha R1 engine. The engine had covered 6,200 km when installed and is now at approximately 12,000 km.
· Independent suspension all round, fully adjustable SPAX setup professionally aligned, plus LSD differential.
· Magnesium wheels with Toyo semi-slick tyres.

· No reverse gear, but it is prepared for installation via a flange in the propshaft near the bulkhead.
This is a car you buy for the pure driving experience. Not for relaxed cruising, but for maximum excitement. Thanks to its extremely low weight and direct drivetrain, this Fury offers an experience that is virtually impossible to buy anymore.

For international buyers: please do not ask whether this car can be registered in your specific country. Small British manufacturers do not provide a COC certificate. This car has a correct Dutch registration; the chassis number and paperwork are all in order. It is not a collection of parts like some other kit cars. Export to Germany, Belgium and France is generally not an issue. Spain can be difficult, and Italy usually requires an intermediate registration on German plates. Please check the possibilities first with your local Westfield, Lotus or kit car club and contact the relevant registration authorities before contacting me. I do not share the chassis number digitally, as I want to avoid any risk of cloning.
